Automation and control

The full control of each parameter concerning the manufacturing processes is a determining factor to achieve the highest quality of the finished leather and maintaining it over time. Automation systems for dosing water and chemical products ensure increased production efficiency and homogeneity of production, but also greater safety for the operators, minimizing margins of error.

The integration with Leonardo centralized control system (a customizable software for the management and automatic execution of recipes, developed by Italprogetti on a  SCADA platform (“Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition”) amplifies the advantages described above, allowing automation of each step and a capillary supervision of all processes.

Thanks to this software, all processes can be performed in fully automatic mode if the recipe phases can be performed by the system and by the dosing stations, or, when a manual intervention by an operator is required, the operations are fully assisted, monitored and recorded in order to guide the operator and ensure complete traceability of the process.
